Two sets is all Gilles Simon needed to get the best of Grigor Dimitrov, also know as baby Fed for his technique resemblance to Federer. Simon, the more experienced of the two, let his opponent do the running and go for the winners. A strategy that payed off as the Frenchman dominated his opponent 6-3 6-3.
In the quarters Simon will match-up with Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci, who defeated the likes Juan-Carlos Ferrero.
