Denis Istomin got rid of Belgian Olivier Rochus in straight sets. After winning the first easily 6-2, Istomin had to hang tough in order to secure the second set tie breaker as well as the match. In the next round, Istomin will match-up with the winner of the match opposing Italian Fabio Fognini to Latvian Ernests Gulbis.
